This my be my new favourite 4L device!
After a few reboots I figured out it only likes really short samples - M4L can be like that 🙄
I'm excited to see where this device goes in the future, but it's a really cool idea and I'll keep playing with it

Hi
I can't find your email so I'm commenting here.
I've tried in Session and Arrangement view and Clip Drift won't let me Select Clip in either Live 12.1 or 12.2
This sounds like such a cool M4L so I hope you help get this working!
Thanks

Awesome! (but would love to see 32 or even 64 length patterns)
Awesome (but needs a few colour tweaks for Ableton 12 )
I can't imagine working with Ableton without Shortcut buddy now!
I've setup shortcuts then made custom keyboard shortcut in my Logitech MX Console (updated loupedeck)
Just amazing, I've used almost all available slots so thanks for including soooo many!

This is AWESOME and so inspiring to add a great sounding and ever changing "melody" line
IDEA: I'd LOVE the ability to record the pattern outputs to the arrangement view when recording! That way I could be playing the track and hit the smiley button and it would record the output while in arrangement view!!
(If it can do this already, could someone show me how?)
Thanks! This thing is AMAZING

I tried editing the Device to shift the scale internally, but have discovered the way the Midi is handled is unlike normal midi signal.
However, I was able to shift the notes to fit the Global Key/Scale, as you suggested, by adding the Ableton Stock SCALE device after our MIDI FILE PLAYER device and it worked perfectly. Hope it works for you!
