| @denork: no, not at all.. i mean, it's all there in the description really. you can use this device to bind the insertion of any device to a key on your computer's keyboard as part of your default live template. for instance; in my case the [1] key puts the native 'utility' device onto the selected track, [2] 'eq-eight', [3] drum buss etc. i find the live browser increasingly cumbersome to use with its (for me) pointless separation of plugin types, so it's useful to have my most-used devices bound to key strokes. and then elisabethhomeland's visual browser helps with keeping track of the rest. |
| Hi there, I've got vers. 3.02 of Shortcut buddy (using Ableton Live 11). Whatever effect, plug-In or whatsoever I put in the device, it always starts a new window of Ableton live and not what I wanted. So on first try I was wondering why Ableton opens up half a douzen times. Anybody know this issue? |

| ok, I got a very fast reply by Noir Labs. It doesn't work if you enabled "multiple Instances" in the Ableton Preferences. So disabling this will fix the problem immediately. |

| So awesome 95% of the time! My only issue is I can NOT get it working with Ni Kontakt, Lunacy Audio's CUBE, or Arturia Pigments - I've tried everything and I just can't get it to work Any ideas? |

| Just tested on Live 11 and still not working with all Arturia + Lunacy instruments or Kontakt (and yes I'm dragging in presets). The preset is in the ShortcutBuddy slot but it just doesnt do anything when click the button like it does for all the other devices I've added Hoping for an update asap ? But this plugin is totally amazing for everything else! |
