Device Overview

Name/Version: Little Pulsar Generator 1.3
Author: ArnauBrichs
Description: Watch demo:

The Little Pulsar Generator is a pulsar-based synthesizer that lets you control different advanced parameters to generate sounds from small grains, and have fine control over those on a sample-per-sample basis.

Fully cross-platform.

You can generate a synched sequence using different envelopes (by clicking on the "Envelope" button), to automate the parameters. Additionally, we've added a MIDI Patch-bay window, that lets you patch the incoming pitch, velocity and aftertouch data to the pulsar parameters of the synth.

Support it here:

For more information on Pulsar synthesis, check out the fourth chapter of Curtis Roads' book "Microsound".

v.1.3. Fixed some bugs, new dark GUI.

v.1.2 Added a QuickStart guide as well as a demo project. Added envelope randomization options in the “Envelopes” window. Changed the inner working of routing, and now it should completely override any data coming from the envelope sequence, as well as the parameter mapping in the MIDI window. Added individual control for all envelope parameters, which are fully MIDI mappable, and automatable.

v.1.1. Added ability to save and recall presets of all the missing parameters.

Sweet! Thanks! I'm excited to give it a try. Always surprised pulsar synthesis isn't more popular - it's a lot of fun

love it, thanks! any way to have parameters saved within the set? midi patching bay and envelopes reset to default

Yes, it does work on Windows, the audio engine is fully coded in Max/Gen. - Regarding the ability to save presets, the latest update v1.1 has you covered.
