Description: | Map the output of an LFO or other modulation source to the left dial, get the inverted values out the right. I do this all the time in Max and found myself missing it in Live. Inverting an envelope follower and mapping the output to track volume creates a very crude/dramatic compression effect, for example. |

Thanks so much! This is fantastically useful. I'm using it as a vocal rider. I'm running a busy multichannel modular mix into Ableton and want it to get a little out of the way of the vocal frequencies when it they come in without using compression. An envelope follower on the vox track invert mapping the gain and a little EQ on a bus of all the modular tracks does the trick. |
This is flooding the undo history with 'Undo change "inverted"' in Live 11, any chance you could take a look at that? I'm using it in an old project and it's made undo unusable (and thereby this device!) |
