Device Overview

Name/Version: TOPoSEQret 0.4
Author: weightausend
Description: TOPoSEQret is a non-linear glitch sequencer inspired by topology..
Draw some values with your mouse, release it and let him go.

You can copy and adapt the algorithm wherever you like.

It's very simple:
8 values, or steps, are discretely summed and then divided by a tempo-friendly coefficient, and the resulting values from the steps are then sequenced and used as multipliers for a sub counter.

I made this in a couple hours to create heavy drum syncopes with 0 effort.

(Hover with your mouse over the mouse's head to get some hints..)

timeline
0.2 - device was not synced with live's clock sorry :D now it makes more sense..
0.3 - labeling problem should be fixed
0.4 - user friendlier GUI colours

I'm not sure what sets this apart from normal sequencers in ways but I'll give it a try.

The display numbers in TOPoSEQ are showing as a light whitish pink that's hard to read on my computer in Live 11.3.11 on a Mac m1..

@Syn it's not normal:) and it's free..
I should have solved the issue of the display number in version 0.3, please let me know as this is my first MIDI Device since years....

don't get how to use it but im getting some sick percussion line so is fine I think

I use it along with Ableton arpeggiator or MIDI echo.. also you can send additional MIDI Notes via MIDI Clip since it passes data through. Thanks!
it's really nothing special or overcomplicated, just something I use for myself and wanted to share

No clue what this is doing but I like it HAHA

@maokus thank you! that's the vibe;)

Solid results - I dig it! thanks for sharing it
