Device Overview

Name/Version: Heterodyne Filter 1.0
Author: grahamf
Description: A switched capacitor filter is a type of analog/digital filter that works by switching between two capacitors at a high rate of speed. The ratio between the two capacitors and the rate of the switch determines the frequency of the filter. This type of filter is rarely used in music. It is typically used for mixed-signal integrated circuits, digital-to-analog converter (DAC) chips, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) chips, pulse-code modulation (PCM) codec-filters, and PCM digital telephony (from Wikipedia).

This device is an emulation of this type of filter using gen~. I have also expanded the possibilities of the filter by creating a multi-order design, as well as allowing feedback, resonance, and chaos control.

thanks!!! mad good.

this is great! it's unique BUT still useful. That's a rare combo these days!

I will say though, that - in terms of style - it does look like "Heterodyne Multi Pole.gendsp" was made by an insane person, lol.

I was hoping I might be able to read what you'd done from it, but I'd have to organise everything first.

Wild n odd - thank you

Wow amzing work !!
