Name/Version: | Regroove 1.1 | ![]() |
Author: | marangamax | |
Description: | Regroove is a Max for Live device that syncopates drum patterns using a learned understanding of rhythm. We wanted to avoid making yet another random pattern generator so a focus has been placed on enabling interactivity allowing you, as a user, to leverage the rhythmic understanding of the embedded neural network to generate customized, musical variations on any input pattern. |

What OS and version of Live are you on? |
Posted on December 07 2021 by marangamax (report) |
didn't crash live but is a bit sluggish and slow to load on MacOS Monterey/Apple Silicon. latest live/max |
@dayjob Yea that's to be expected, there's quite some heavy lifting in the background with node.js constantly fetching predictions from the embedded neural network. Some would say it's a miracle that this works as fast as it does in Max for Live - even native VSTs would struggle with this kind of workload. Nonetheless keep an eye on the updates, I'm still actively working on performance improvements and new features. |

@Mashmore12 Yea it's quite experimental so I initially limited the downloads available to make sure all bugs were smoothed out, given the positive response I've now removed this limit |
