Device Overview
Name/Version: | Warp Automater 1.0 | ![]() |
Author: | crcorrell | |
Description: | This device exposes the different warp properties (ie grain size, flux, envelope, etc.) that are usually not able to be automated. Normally one must manually control these properties while bouncing the audio to a new track. In order to use this device drag the audio sample you would like to use into a simpler device. Click the warp feature on the simpler device and select the warp mode. On the Warp Automater device select the track and the simpler device you would like to automate (usually "This Track" and whatever the simpler device is named). You can now automate the warp properties either using a LFO device or by drawing envelopes in. NOTE: This device is very CPU intensive and will also fill up your undo history. It is recommended that you use the device to get a good automation then bounce the take to a new track. Please contact me if you have any suggestions or feature requests! |

Trying to run this on Live Suite 10.1.4. It links to the clip but the parameters aren't moving at all. Disappointing as I've always wanted to do this. |

Hello, I can get this to work next to a simpler. But is it possible to get this to function with a wav in arrangement or a clip in session??? For some reason adjusting say the flux n grain texture in those modes makes a more prominent effect than when in simpler. |
This continues to be one of the most clever and simple devices i've ever used... it feels like someone stepped into my own head and took one of the first questions i asked / wondered about the possiblity of. i've got many other ideas along these lines which ive no idea if possible . and have been biting off littel chunks of m4l over the years but nothing substantial enough to put something together. tHE LIVE API OBJECT IS INSCRUTABLE TO ME ... GREAT USE OF IT THANK YOU |
