Lil concepts is a generative sequencer that uses elementary cellular automata (CA) to scan sets of notes, then decide which ones to play and when. By setting the rule and seed you can set a starting point and potential route the sequence will take. Some routes will output then dissolve into silence while others will generate forever with varying intensity. The new send and receive features allow you to apply this method of generation not only to note selection, but also to external sequence and parameter control making this an expansive utility for automating elements of a composition.
