Device Overview

Name/Version: UNI ID 8 1.0
Author: thebite
Description: UNI ID 8 is a max4 live device.
I make this device because almost all the lfos i see in the user library takes total control of the parameters and they don,t let you automate or modulate the parameter anymore. With UNI ID you can put the lfos on/off so you can make automations or modulations at any time.
You have 8 independent sample and hold lfos, you can set the speed per lfo, you have a global speed that change all the lfos at once, you can add jitter and smooth per lfo.
You can switch on/off the lfos, so you can make automations or modulations of the same parameter that the lfo is controlling at any moment if you want.
With 64 presets to store, you can use it to switch between different lfos configurations, it,s up to you.
I make a video tutorial that explain the basics of UNI ID 8, it,s important to see it to understand how the device works: https://youtu.be/HLGNJW8LCXg

"I make this device because almost all the lfos i see in the user library takes total control of the parameters and they don,t let you automate or modulate the parameter anymore" ?? / what do you mean ? you can enable and disable LFO devices, play with the depth...

with a normal lfo, like the lfo on the core library, if you control a parameter for example, the volume parameter on the operator instrument, this volume parameter is not avaliable anymore, for automations and modulations on arragement view, is grey because it,s controlled by the lfo, even if you disable the lfo, you can,t make automations or modulations of that volume parameter.

Useful original S&H utility
