Device Overview
Name/Version: | Freeze Frame 1.2 | ![]() |
Author: | WillSavin | |
Description: | This device uses the FFT to save snapshots of a track's frequency content, and sustains that snapshot until a new snapshot is taken. The timing between snapshots can be synced to the project's tempo, or given in Hz, and offset by a percentage of the time between snapshots. You can turn any sound into an evolving pad, make a voice sound robotic, and much more with this device. This is my first time releasing a Max for Live device, if you find any glitches or have suggestions for improvements, please leave me a message. 13/02/16 UPDATE: Version 1.1 Solved timing issues by implementing latency. Removed FFT Size: 32768 to reduce latency. Corrected timing with sample rates above 44.1kHz. 10/03/16 UPDATE: Version 1.2 Added info panel in patching view. |
