Description: | Audio effect plugin I made today that modulates delay time based on amplitude of the signal. It uses an envelope follower (a fork of Ableton's builtin with some optional nonlinear scaling controlled by "sensitivity") to delay up to (or down from) a maximum delay time. With short max delay times, it effectively warps the pitch on note attacks, and longer times lead to warped rhythms. Lots of other experimental weirdness is possible. You can also de-link the channels which can lead to a cool variable chorus-like effect for certain sounds. This requires Max 8 or later (Ableton 10+) because it depends on MC objects. just up my street. I love the idea of modulating delay time... but this is cooler than most of the ideas I've seen in a while. Hope to have fun abuse my new power ;]
