Overview

Name | Version: FPB Simple Reverser 1.2
Author: fingerspushbuttons
Device Type: Audio Effect
Description: Simple Reverser is a Max for Live tool to reverse audio on the fly in Ableton Live.

Simply press the reverse button to start filling a buffer with audio then release the reverse button to hear it play back backwards.

Turn on the loop button to have the backwards audio play in a loop whilst you continue to add new noises over the top.

Version 1: Much better pop reduction on reversed audio and Push Controls.

That's it, pretty simple but very useful for creating interesting and original textures.

And as a 'Happy Birthday!' to Ableton it's free until the 15th Nov so get it now!!!

Doesn't seem to work at all
Tried it on audio and midi tracks with no effect
It should work, it’s fully native max objects that make this device.

Sometimes the first button press after loading doesn’t work (I’m working on a fix for that now) but other than that I have had no issues.

Are you letting the audio play in to the device with the reverse button on, then turning it off to hear it backwards?
Doesn't work for me as well, hold the reverse button pressed while audio is playing then i turn it off but no effect.
Thanks both for letting me know. I have identified the problem and uploaded an update version 1.1 . It should just work now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

great, works now. sounds pretty smooth mate.
Glad you like it, enjoy!
not to nag or anything, but the photo of the device on your gumroad site is very very blurry and the wrong resolution or something
