Device Overview

Name/Version: Push Hacker 2.0.4
Author: lqud
Description: Fastlane & Soundmanufacture teamed up to design a Max for Live Device (M4L) which enables you to have a faster access to individual features & customize Push 1 or 2 inside Ableton Live for your needs.

Push Hacker 2 turns your Push 1 or 2 session and note modes into HYBRID MODES ‘Session/User mode’ or ‘Note/User mode’

It enables you to manually re-assign any of Push’s features (buttons/rotaries/pitch bend/matrix pads) to any parameters in Live (audio effects/MIDI effects/Clips/ Clips slots/Mixer/Solo buttons etc.…)
whilst in ‘Note Mode’ or ‘Session Mode’

Push Hacker has been designed to address one of the most fundamental principle of live performance ‘You should avoid having to switch modes on your controller’s whilst playing live to get the
spontaneous feel you’d get from an acoustic instrument’

Very cool device. Love that you can turn it on / off quickly. WOuld really like to be able to have the mappings be dynamic tho. Maybe that's not the right word, but what I mean is say you want a knob to control the filter cutoff of EQ 8. It would be cool to be able to have that knob be able to control the EQ 8 same filter cutoff of the currently selected track.

This is awesome! Push should've had this functionality a lot time ago, I have been trying to find something that does exactly the same as your device and this showed up in the perfect time. Thanks!

How about making some video demos of actually useful mappings? In the current ones you seem to fail to put across what could be done. I can already do more things than I would like with the original script and additions. Our time is limited for checking out cool tools and there are so many.

This looks interesting and unique, but there seem to be some serious limitations. Like for instance tying mappings to only one instance, one place and so on. Typically that's not something very attractive.

This is surely something to follow.

Hi lqud, I love the device, but much of the led-feedback lights wont work.
I implemented the on/of switch on my Push2, and the lights work beautiful there, but not on my Push1, and on both the lights for the Trigger Clip function will not be regulated, could you please look into it ?

One small other thing is that the device will not remember the Push version after restarting, I really hope you can fix this, especially the color regulation,, best regards,, Marcus
