In 2025, dark web marketplace sales reached $2.6 billion, and the costs of global cybercrime are staggering—it was about $10.5 trillion for 2025-2026, with predictions that it could escalate to around $15.63 trillion by 2029. Furthermore, there are currently over 15 billion stolen credentials being traded on these marketplaces.
