Thanks for this, it works perfectly (Ableton 10, win 64, beatstep). A game changer for me as allow the save mapping function allows me to spend time making templates to control hardware (Tetra, Blofeld and Evolver). Really love the small size, quality and price of the beatstep.
My only issue is that the encoders on the Beatstep are kinda slow (the increments are too granular). This speed dialer works well in isolation: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/2243/beatstep-speeddialer. The problem is that I can't patch it with the CC Param Control Bank. What I'd really love to have is the PCB with the added functionality of the speaddialer. I wonder how hard it would to make this happen!?
Pls don't let me take away from the goodness of the PCB with this complaint about the Beatstep. The PCB is tops.
