Thanks for all of the kind remarks everyone! I've got a few more ideas for this but I'm lacking in experience and time, however you may want to check back periodically to see if anything has changed.

I've noticed this too, even after hitting the get devices button. Re-selecting the effect should make the parameters pop up again.
Not sure about how to fix this.

I'm not sure to get the changes recorded in clips or the arrangement, if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Could you explain the problem your having a little more.

An envelope would be cool, I am new to Max though so I'm not sure how to go about it yet.
