I understand your request, but this would entail numerous combinations. With 12 root notes multiplied by 35 scales, it could become overwhelming. While you don't want every option, it must be flexible to accommodate diverse needs. I I need to consider how to implement this. It would require a significant rewrite of the device.
In what situations and how do you plan to use the desired mappings?

@Vermette: There's nothing I can do about that. All Max for Live devices that save files function similarly, as do Max itself and many other applications. I know some applications, like Live, do not behave this way, but they are written in higher-level languages than Max.
@groovemekanik Thank you for your kind feedback. I am happy to know that it is useful.
Regarding saving to a text file. When the option is enabled, a Save dialog window should appear when you click 'Create List'. Does this happen? If so, can you enter a file name and select a location? Is a file saved, but does it not contain data?
What Live version number are you using, and on what operating system?

@verylargesession: Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The issue has been fixed in the latest version, which you can download now.
A new version has been uploaded that shows whether a device is active (On) or not (Off). You can hide this information if you don't need it.
An example is shown in the image on this page.
Instead of the words On and Off, I tried several symbols, but none were really clear.

@distantnoise I'm pleased to hear that you use it frequently.
As for your feature request, that is possible. I need to consider how to implement it and find the time to do so.

I can download it, even when I'm not logged in to my account.
And I can see many others have downloaded it in the past week.
So I'm not sure what's going wrong.
You may want to try again later or use a different browser.

@Calagan
Distinguishing between VST2 and VST3 is not possible in Max. There is a Max device (PlugView) that shows the difference. It reads the .als file using Javascript and Node. This is beyond my knowledge. I don't use the .als file, but look for what's inside the open Live set.
@distantnoise
Adding native and Max devices is possible, though.

On the contrary. It is possible to add zoom functionality to a popup/floating window in Max for Live. Many devices have this option.
The big window should always on top (window flags float). Now the big window disappears when you click somewhere in Live.
In addition, I was a bit surprised that the content of the large window shows something completely different than the scope in the device.

The synth uses a Max popup window, which are always very small on my monitor. Popup windows unfortunately don't scale according to Live's zoom level. Does this device offer its own setting to scale the popup window by, for example a factor 1.5 or 2?
In Live 11 the Chain Selector is not Parameter 9 but Parameter 17 since Live 11 supports 8 more macros so you have to change that (or stop the device from working in Live 11).
@Golitan11 You delete a point by SHIFT clicking it.
In addition, my device cannot change the scales of multiple selected clips at once, so that's another thing I must address. Just to make sure you know, the root note and scale you see in the transport bar are of the selected clip; It's not a set-wide global scale.
Even if you could map your favorite scales, and my device would apply those scales to all selected clips, you'd still need to make that selection first. I imagine that selecting clips is not feasible during a live performance.
