hi i have a problem with this device that if i try to load a device straight into an effect rack, live will immediately crash most of the time. im currently on ver 11.2 win 11.

Yep, I'm now aware and it's a Live bug, actually.
I reported to Ableton, so let's hope they can fix this soon.
