Device Overview
Name/Version: | Le Transposeur 1.1 | |
Author: | vingtdeux | |
Description: | This device is a rework of the great “Step Transpose” device by Takadimi, to make it polyphonic. Have you noticed that with traditional midi note transposers, the transposition occurs only to the next notes ? So if you sustain a note and then change the pitch, nothing happens. With this device, if you sustain a note and change the pitch, new notes are created (and previously ones are stopped), acting a bit like the transpose dial of your synth. Now that it’s polyphonic, you can play a chord and transpose an octave up or down if step size is set to +12. You can also feel a bit jazzy and set it to other unusual numbers (in that case a Scale device after it can be useful). :-) Hidden feature : click on the little white bar under the title to revert to a more classical transposition mode link to original device : https://maxforlive.com/library/device/4446/step-transpose |
