Description: | Welcome to the realm of sample accurate advanced sidechaining and more ! Envelooper is a multi usage tool, designed for the most basic sidechaining (volume "pumping") effect but that can as well lead to much more than that ! Follow along for more ! At the beginning of it, it's an envelope looper (!): - The envelope is drawn on the left side, points and curves can be added, removed and adjusted as seen fit. - A randomise button allows you to generate a random curve or random gates, following current X and Y grid if you're not sure what you're after - Bottom points means no sound, top points mean full volume, but this can be reverted using the Volume knob. - The envelope can as well control any parameter of Live (using the "map" button) - The grid can be defined as needed and be set to snap points to the intersections or free. - You can clear the envelope, mirror it upside down, left to right, or load one of the predefined shapes with a click. You can as well export a shape to a file or load one from a file. - The overall duration of the envelope is set to the right of it, in ms or time division from 1/64 to 32 bars included dotted and triplet values. - The envelope can be set to loop as per the rate, or play only once. It can as well be triggered in follower mode by another track (see below) - You can process the full frequency spectrum, or just a part of it by specifying min and max frequencies, the rest going through unchanged for a less drastic effect, or to tame only a part of the spectrum. - The smooth parameter soften the brutal volume changes, allowing to remove any possible clicks and pops that can occur. - The phase knob shiftes the whole envelope left or right - All ascending or descending curves can be tweaked simultanouesly to make them smoother or harder In follower mode (click the "more" button to show it), playback is started when the audio signal reaches the threshold upward, with a delay corresponding to the attack (in ms), and by averaging a configurable number of incoming samples. If the audio signal goes below the threshold, the envelope continues for the time set on the release parameter. Note that opposite to a standard envelope follower, Envelooper doesn't have a sustain stage (where it stays at a given level until audio goes below threshold). And finally the output gain slider allows you to tame or boost the output signal. The "more" buton unveils the follower and the scope, that can display the "live" envelope (the real one including its shift and smooth, opposite to the drawn one), the incoming signal, the procesed one and even the sidechain signal. But there is more ! Version 1.6.2 introduces a full fledge floating resizeable window in which you can work even more precisely and see exactly what's happening in realtime: click on "zoom envelope" to show it ! Please note you need to have Max 4 Live to use this device (included with Ableton Live Suite, or available as an add-on for other Live versions) !! There will be no refund in case of mistakingly purchasing this item !!
