Device Overview

Name/Version: Smartphones Dial 1.0
Author: rjonline00
Description: Dial is a send and receive counter device. It will count incoming midi, itself and external pulses routed to its receivers.
You can then use these counts to sequence triggers and send them to other devices. With clever routing this device can help create control sequences that sound as generative or intentional as you like.

(update: Any phone icon is now a global reset button, starting all counters and sequences from 1.)

- All smartphones now support the 8 send/receive setup.

Thanks, this is really great.

Awesome device, exactly what I was was postponing to build for myself for too long. Combined with sync-free gate sequencer it can make streams of notes and control messages and trigger/modulate everything with off-the-grid rhythms.

Was wondering just about one thing: based on description, I assumed receiver can also emit midi note(s) to trigger other midi instruments, but couldn't figure it out yet. Based on patch it doesn't seem to have this function.

Anyway, thanks for sharing, dial and env are amazing devices.

Thank you ADYZAX!

Thank you Victor!!! I built dial with only trigger sequencing in mind but that is an AMAZING idea for another device. The send/receive environment is really open ended:)
