sonder Mark keeps your project notes directly inside your Ableton Live Set.

Mark is built for fast, lightweight note taking while producing, arranging, mixing, and finishing music.

What Mark helps with

- Write notes for individual tracks
- Keep project-wide notes in one place
- Track open tasks, fixes, and ideas
- Use simple Markdown-style formatting
- Review everything in a clean project overview
- Follow the currently selected Ableton track
- Keep notes saved with your Live Set

Really great but needs high contrast mode and bigger fonts ;)
Best note taking m4l don't need another!
Hi!

I’ve been using this device and it’s absolutely phenomenal, honestly one of the best tools out there for organizing session notes.

However, I recently ran into a frustrating issue. Whenever I type into the note box, Ableton's Undo History logs a new entry for every single character added. If I write a long text, the entire Undo list gets completely flooded with character-by-character changes.

I am pretty sure this issue started with the recent Ableton Live 12.4.3 update, as I don't recall experiencing this behavior before. Is there any way to tweak the parameter visibility or text attributes inside the patch to fix this?

Thanks so much for this amazing device! Best regards.
Hi!

Thank you so much for the kind words, I'm really glad you're enjoying Mark!

And thanks for reporting this. I was able to reproduce the behavior on my side as well, so it isn't specific to your setup.
I'm investigating the best way to handle text updates so they don't flood the undo stack while still keeping the editor responsive.

I'll include a fix in a future update once I've verified it doesn't introduce any unwanted side effects.

Thanks again for taking the time to report it!
Thank you so much!
