Description:	CAVITY is a stereo waveguide effect that transforms external signals into crazy sounds with a wide range of in-harmonics spectrum and resonances, typical of a metallic timbres. CAVITY is a modern implementation of the non-linear reverberation theories originally proposed by MICHAEL GERZON (inventor of Ambisonics) in 1971 and further refined and implemented by MILLER PUCKETTE (Pure Data creator) in 2011. The device was specifically inspired by the presentation of the ANALOG WAVEGUIDE Eurorack presented by CHAIR (Centre for Haptic Audio Interaction Research) at SUPERBOOTH 2024. Unfortunately, their module is not longer available. CAVITY provides a software alternative to the now sold out hardware. The device consists of two parallel delay lines optimized for micro-delay times. Before both lines return to the start of the loop, they pass through a Rotation Matrix where they cross-pollinate between each other. And that’s where the fun starts! A Rotation knob controls the phase angle between these lines, inducing complex harmonic coupling. This transforms two independent delays lines into a single, rich, multidimensional resonant object.
