Description: |
The MIDITransposer does just that; it transposes all incoming MIDI notes to the note and scale you select (by default this is C1). It is somewhat comparable to Live's scale device only much simpler and easier to use.
During testing the device I realized how well it behaved with automation and considering that you can achieve interesting effects by quickly changing the transpose note I figured I might as well share this.

I found another possible use for your device. If i place it in front of a drumrack which corresponds with my 4x4 grid buttonmasher it's posisble to navigate trough the sample slots with the octave transposer. This way it is possible to use all sampleslots with just 16 buttons and a knob. The only thing is.... because everything comes out within a certain note all buttons sound the same. Since i'm not a programmer, i hope you can make this slight modification to create a more simple, but much more useful device. I'm willing to do so myself, but i don't have a clue.
