Description: | This is an advanced sound phase positioning tool that allows you to adjust the left-right and front-back position of the sound. For adjusting the front-back position, a relatively simple directional effect is achieved by boosting or attenuating a specific frequency band. As for adjusting the left-right position, three modes are provided: separate mode, alternating mode, and virtual reality sound mode: 1.Separate mode: The left and right channels are separated and attenuated independently, similar to the way in Protools. For example, when adjusted to the extreme right, the right channel outputs the original right signal 100%, while the left channel outputs the original left signal 0% (mute). 2.Alternating mode: Similar to the separate mode, but when the left and right channels are separated and attenuated, the signal of the attenuated side is compensated to the other side. For example, when adjusted to the extreme right, the right channel outputs the original right signal 100%, while the left channel outputs the original left signal 0% (mute), and the 100% attenuated signal from the left side is output to the right side. This method ensures that all channel signals are retained when adjusting the sound phase of the stereo audio, such as when adjusted to the extreme left, the output from the left channel is a mono audio of the merged left and right channels without losing the original right signal. 3.Virtual Reality Audio mode: The left-right direction of sound is perceived by the brain through analyzing the time difference of the signals received by the two ears. This method calculates the maximum delay range on both sides by combining the distance between the two ears (taking a reasonable length value) and the speed of sound propagation in the air, and delays one channel to achieve a perceived sound phase shift. This method does not attenuate the energy of the left and right channels, and the values on the level meter will not change. Therefore, this method cannot achieve the effect of extreme left or right, and is more obvious in mono (or center-channel) audio.
