Device Overview

Name/Version: Elektron Machinedrum SPS-1UWMKII Controller 1.0
Author: Filament
Description: Although the Machinedrum is a very powerful drum machine, I needed to have a quick way to control the parameters of a single drum track from within Live, so I built this device. You can use this device on multiple midi tracks (multiple instances) to control different sound selections of the Machinedrum. I found some good uses for it and I hope others will too.

This device will only work with Elektron Machinedrum SPS-1UW MKII as far as I know. It may work with the non UW version, but will not work with the MKI version as it is configured differently. There is no reason why MKI users cannot adapt this device for themselves with a little research, but I have not the time or inclination to do this.

Hi

I have tested with SPS-1 version (no UW) and it works great when i send MIDI from your device to the MD.when i turn a knob on the mD,i haven't the feedback to your device

Thanks for your job....

Great! +
i tried your device with a MKI UW Machinedrum and it works.
Sadly only the current selected instruments gets controlled by one device. But nonetheless, good work!

@lxegs
I made this to control the machinedrum from live. I did not have the need for this device to to receive midi data from machinedrum. If you want to edit it for your own needs please go ahead. It is not locked.

@M1O
I made this to control one sound selection on the machinedrum only. You can select the sound selection from the umenu on the top left of the device.

You can have this device on multiple tracks to control more sound selections from the machinedrum.

Thanks.

works fine!
i use a md sps mk1

Hi,

is that possible to upgrade it to a 16 seperated midi channels ?

seems it is locked to 4

Hi.

Thanks for this patch, is very useful for me but I have a question.

How I can change the order of parameters to see them in Push in the order I want?

For example, in your patch I see the first layer of parameters in this way:

AMD, AMF, DEL, DIST, EQF, EQG, FLTF, FLTQ

Layer 2:

FLTW, LFOD, LFOM LFOS, PAN, Param1, Param2, Param3

Layer 3:

Param4, Param5, Param6, Param7, Param8, REV, SRR, VOL

I want to see the layers in the same order that Elektron

For example, layer 1:

Param1, Param2, Param3, Param4, Param5, Param6, Param7, param8

Layer 2:

AMD, AMF, EQF, EQG, FLTF, FLTW, FLTQ, SRR

Layer 3:

DIST, VOL, PAN, DEL, REV, LFOS, LFOD, LFOM

Thanks.
