Description: | The Slideshow device is intended for creating an automated, dynamic visual slideshow to accompany an Ableton DJ set or live performance. Now updated to v1.2. - MAC ONLY More info: https://andrewnorris.uk/slideshow/ Demo video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoLRTZjjsDc Updates include: - Now much more CPU efficient. All graphics processing has moved from CPU to GPU. - ‘Manual / Auto’ switch. Set to ‘Auto’, this will override all manual zoom/pan settings or automation and will ’animate’ each slide with a kind of Ken Burns effect. With ‘Auto Crossfade’ also set to on, each time a new image is loaded a random point on the image will be selected. The displayed image will then smoothly zoom in and out from that set point. - ‘Intensity’ dial. This affects how quickly and how much the displayed image zooms in and out when ‘Move’ is enabled. - X/Y pads for each slide to control panning. - GUI redesign. - Zoom range changed. You can now zoom between 10% size and 300% size for each slide. - Fixed crashing problems when automating Slide selection dials. - Bound mode added for each slide. When zoom is below 100%, you can choose how the border around the image will be displayed: - Wrap: image is repeated inside the border. - Clip: border filled with the colours from the outer edges of the image. - Fold: image is repeated and mirrored inside the border. ---------------------- Other things I’ve made: https://andrewnorris.uk Buy me a coffee: https://ko-fi.com/andrewnorris |

Hi eport, You should still be able to drag and drop a folder of videos instead of a folder of images into the device and it'll work. I've tried it just now with a folder of .mov files. The only problem is the video won't be playing and will only show a still image. To fix this, open up the device in Max4Live and find the two jit.qt.movie objects. In each one change the @autostart 0 attribute to @autostart 1. Then freeze the device and save it. |

Do you think that this little implementation could see the light?
Or any advice on how to?
Thanks in advance
