Name/Version: Volca Beats Drum Rack and Remote 1.0
Author: nerk
Description: This let´s you use and control the Korg Volca Beats with Push in a convenient way. The Drum Rack is assigned to the note numbers and the controllable parameters of the drum parts, so that you can directly manipulate and record them while playing.

VB KICK: Volume
VB SNARE: Volume
VB LOTOM: Volume, Decay
VB HITOM: Volume, Decay
VB CH HAT: Volume, Decay, Hat Grain
VB OH HAT: Volume, Decay, Hat Grain
VB CLAP: Volume, PCM Speed
VB CLAVES: Volume, PCM Speed
VB AGOGO: Volume, PCM Speed
VB CRASH: Volume, PCM Speed
VB STUTTER: Time Depth

Although there are some parameters you can´t control via MIDI, this is quite useful to store patterns in Live, modulate and automate (and mix) all the parameters above. Also works well with hot-swap, enabling you to quickly switch between drum sets.

thanks! great idea!

yeah very good idea!

This is exactly what I was looking for, and it works great! Thank you!

This is fantastic, was just about to go through all the work of trying to create this myself...

Any word on why Korg has not specified MIDI notes that control the Tom "Hi Pitch" and "Lo Pitch" parameters? From looking at their MIDI Implementation Chart (linked below) it looks as if they don't exist. I have an inquiry in to them about how these might be controlled.

Otherwise, it looks like this person (second link below) was able to create a control device with these parameters.

Thank you, very nice, had big fun with this last night!!
