| Description: | I have been using this via ReWire for the last year or so and it was the first project I ported to M4L. It contains code from the "scaler" patch found in the Max 5 application folder (examples/max-tricks/notes-and-pitch) that randomizes based on a chosen scale. What I've done is connect the randomizer to oscillators in a (very) simple FM scheme. You can select the note duration of each osc as well as the scale and range. Turn on Live's transport and away it goes! I usually throw some effects after it like a filter delay and an autopan to soften up the sound a bit. Enjoy! |
