A very handy device and a nice idea, thanks for sharing. Alas the knob doesn't show up on Push 2. It can be grouped and mapped to a macro but that causes it to not work across tracks. Any chance of making it compatible with Push natively? :)

Very kind of you to share!

Some news however: I've tested Drum Racks in Live 11 and they (at least according to my testing) have been updated so that MIDI is also muted and this also fixes the problem with the internal sends and returns in drum racks.

Whether in Live 11 this also fixes the issue when working with external gear like the TR-808 I don't know, but I'd assume so.

Just thought I'd share!

Great idea, and kind of you to share. I have some feedback and some news however!

First he feedback: in Live 11 it doesn't work (more on that later). In Live 10 it works but doesn't stop MIDI being picked up by other midi tracks that are set to "listen" to the drum rack's pads.

But, perhaps this is soon to be a moot issue (see what I did there?) as I've tested Drum Racks in Live 11 and they (at least according to my testing) have been updated so that MIDI is also muted and this also fixes the problem with the internal sends and returns. Alas the problem as described above (let's call it internal MIDI muting across tracks) still persists.

Whether in Live 11 this also fixes the issue when working with external gear I don't know, but I'd assume so.

Next we just have to hope for cueing in drum racks and then we're good!
