It allows you to record with monitoring enabled on any track without worrying about latency. The device will turn off the monitoring right before recording, then after it starts, it re-enables it. That creates a glitch where you can monitor the track, but the latency won’t get applied to the recorded take. With Latency Free Recorder and Latency Fixer, you now have two distinct options to choose from, whether you prefer to tackle latency during or after recording.
