Description: | Hi! This Max for Live device includes: Oscilloscope, Goniometer, Phase Correlation meter, Stereo Balance meter and Peak Level indicator. You can select the input signal between Sum, Diff, Left, Right and L+R at the same time. Also, you have two floating windows (one for the Oscilloscope and the other for Goniometer) with the possibility to show or hide the title bar. I made a free version, that only includes the Oscilloscope section with no floating window. Short demo of how it works (Youtube): v1.2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qAzO6tQvoA v1.0 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2RQ5fyPY5I v1.2 Update - Waveform mode improved (pitch detection improved). - Zoom added in Waveform mode (to manually adjust the waveform on the X-axis if needed). - Trigger Threshold added in Trigger and Waveform modes. - Added BPM Sync to the Samples knob for Time and Trigger modes (music note symbol). - Gain increased to +36 dB (now is exponential). - Diff (or Side) added to signal selection. - UI redesign. v1.1 Update - Added three modes for the Oscilloscope (Time, Waveform and Trigger). - Goniometer improved when signal is clipping. - Stereo Balance and Phase Correlation meters slightly improved. - Added new menu to enable or disable pitch detection and meters (to reduce CPU usage if is needed). - Added MIDI note indicator. - Delay time increased to 1s. - Gain increased to +24 dB. |

I wanted to use your Oscilloscope as I typically use my Hardware scope, by looking at both channels, left and right, of a track signal, to compare the timing of them, to debug delay compensation. For this purpose I run a pulsing signal through both channels and wanted to sync the horizontal position to the edge of one of the channels, so that I see a stable picture. Like you do using the trigger function of a HW scope. Unfortunately, your waveform display seems to be triggered by both channels, independently, so the relative position changes all the time. Or at least I could not figure out how to do it.
Yours,
Ralf
