Device Overview

Name/Version: Slicer 1.0.1
Author: TristanSutcliffe
Description: Slicer is a polyphonic MIDI device which takes incoming MIDI notes and transforms them into a series of notes with the same pitch/velocity. The effect continuously repeats the "slices" until the MIDI note from Live finishes. The length of each slice can be modulated over time by the tempo emitted by Paradox or drawn in automation with free mode.

Paradox device can be downloaded here:

Features:
- Set the speed/length of the sliced midi notes using rate dials.
- Use Paradox tempo to change speed over time in unique patterns.
- Set a bpm range in which the effect is triggered. When current bpm is outside the range the effect does not trigger.
- Toggle normal MIDI playback on or off when the bpm is outside the specified range.
