| Description: | Harmonizer is a MIDI effect with a monophonic input and a polyphonic output of up to four MIDI notes. These notes are played simultaneously or arpeggiated using the SYNC menu at the top right corner. Chords can be created using the four PITCH number boxes at the top center. These numbers are positive and are normalized to the input note. The 12-tone Chromatic Pitch Set is normalized at 0, and the 7-tone Diatonic Pitch Set is normalized at 1. Switch between these sets using the GENUS switch at the top left corner. The chords are built of varying qualities and quantities using the INTERVAL and CHORD knobs respectively. In the GENUS Chromatic, the chord quality is fixed, and in the GENUS Diatonic, the chord quality is moveable. INTERVAL selects the Generic Pitch Interval. KEY & MODE are used to find the Specific Pitch Interval in the GENUS Chromatic, but they are used to find the root note for the selected scale in the GENUS Diatonic. The keyboard displays the selected chord in Pitch Set form, but the input note appears in Pitch-class form. Features: - PITCH sets the integer manually or by using INTERVAL & MODE. - GENUS switches between the 7-tone Diatonic Genus and the 12-tone Chromatic Genus. - CHORD selects the quantity of MIDI notes outputted for every one MIDI note inputted. - Selection: Monad Dyad Triad Quadrad - INTERVAL selects Diatonic Interval between each successive pitch displayed in PITCH 1–4. - Selection: Unison Secundal Tertial Quartal Quintal Sextal Septal Octave Cosine ArcSine ArcCosine Sine - KEY & MODE selects the Key and Mode of Diatonic Genus to change the pitch values accordingly. - Key Selection: C Db D Eb E F Gb G Ab A Bb B - Mode Selection: Locrian Phrygian Aeolian-(Minor) Dorian Mixolydian Ionian-(Major) Lydian - SYNC selects the tempo-synched rate of arpeggiation between 1/4 note & 1/128 note or OFF.
