| Description: | The purpose of this device is to generate MIDI data by proliferation from the data delivered by the performer via a controller. The maximum number of parallel tasks is set to 5. If you start a new one, the oldest one is stopped automatically. The responses delivered by this device are chromatic. To stay in a tonal context, it will be necessary to couple this device to Live’s automatic MIDI pitch correction (aka Scale)! What can I do with Shadow-Reflexion ? * Symmetry The automaton accompanies the performer in a mirror image. In the example, the reflection is determined by C3, the symmetry point of this operation. However, this point of symmetry is configurable. * Symmetry Drift The automaton accompanies the performer in mirror image. However, the reflection drifts from octave to octave. The rate at which the harmonics appear is correlated to the intensity of the performer’s playing. * FifthOnFifth The automaton stacks fifth after fifth from the note played by the performer. The rate at which the notes appear is correlated to the intensity of the performer’s playing. * Iterations The automaton repeats the note played by the performer while slowing down the iterations. * Iterations Disto The automaton repeats a note lower than the note played by the performer while slowing down the iterations. The interval between the note played and the repeated note is determined by the intensity of the performer’s playing. * Wave Up The automaton creates an ascending wave-like melodic movement. The rate of propagation is determined by the intensity of the performer’s playing. * Wave Down The automaton creates a melodic downward wave motion.
