Description: This decoder works with a custom algorithm for decoding B-format sources, such as ambisonic recordings or mixes.

Fully mono-compatible and stable, this algorithm is perfect for conveying all sounds from the horizontal plane in a super-wide stereo image.

It is compatible with both speakers and headphones, giving a deep ambiance perception. It can also be a substitute for binaural (when the height is of no relevance).

About the UHJ encoding: “The front-stage material is reproduced with sharply defined images, occupying virtually the whole of the stereo stage, and that some sound position can appear marginally beyond the loudspeakers. Rear-stage sounds appear with rather less well-defined images between the stereo loudspeakers” (Gerzon, 1983).

The shape control is for balancing omnidirectional and directional material.

I bought... thinking it was exactly what I needed to make my samples more beautiful in the stereo. After a few minutes using, I realized that I had made a mistake... the device was just a decoder, not a stereo enhance at all :\ I even used the chatgpt to know if it would really help me to improve the stereo of my songs and he said yes. (Don't trust A.I) anyway... I got in touch with the developer, prepared to face one of those endless bureaucratic processes. But to my surprise, he replied the next day... polite, quick and extremely helpful. Without question, offered the chargeback immediately. I gotta say... That tells a lot about the quality ... not only of the product, but the developer itself, so thank you...

So if you have samples in compatible format. You just found the best decoder on the market... sounds like heaven to me... :)
