Description: Use this device to control Mutable Instrument's module Plaits 'Model' parameter.

Requires Plaits and a MIDI to CV interface to operate.

Connect your interface to your computer, either via MIDI or USB. Connect an output of your interface to Plaits 'Model' CV input. Set Plaits 'Model' to the first top green one, using the top left button to scroll through the list.

In Ableton, select your MIDI Interface as output device on the MIDI track you've loaded the device into. Use the MIDI/CV number to select the output from which your interface is sending out the CV signal. Use the MIDI Channel number to configure the MIDI Channel your output is set. You can set the same channel in Ableton's track as well.

You can now scroll through the different models using both the dropdown menu or the mappable knob.

Love this idea, thank you for implementing it. Unfortunately I can't seem to select the very last model (Analog HH) on my Plaits with this M4L device. It scrolls through the models correctly until it gets to Analog HH -- Live says I've selected Analog HH, but my Plaits module seems to max out at the Analog SD model.

Ah! I'd been having the same issue before releasing the device and thought I managed to fix it. It's really just a calibration thing: it might vary depending on the specifics of the MIDI>CV converter one is using. If you manage to select all of the models apart from the last one, it should be just a slight difference in voltages. Also, make sure your converter is not set on V/Oct mode, cause this device is purposed for a generic untracked voltage output. I'll look into it and hopefully find a way to test it.

After way too long, finally managed to test it on a second MIDI-CV converter: calibration is now adjusted and device updated

Updated the device so that it retains MIDI settings when saving the project and recalls them when loading the set again.
