Description: | A simple device which does two things: It displays songtime in hours:minutes:seconds- at least as long as you are working with a constant song tempo. And it allows to black out the computer screen while listening to the music, which I find sometimes very important. I cannot turn off my external Apple display and this was my solution for the problem. The device also is a good example of how to work with floating windows in MaxForLive. |

Very good! Looking at the sequenced material effects how you perceive music, so you judge not by the ear, but also by expectation. I'm going to look into this patch, would be great to show a real-time logarithmic spectrogram as well.

this is something i didn't realize i needed until i used it. i'm right with on blacking out the screen and just 'focusing' on the music. Thank you much!

This is so great, one of the first ones I downloaded after buying M4L. I love how much more connected to my main gear (apc40, livid code) I feel when my room is all dark and instead I'm working solely from the (now blazing) LED's. Like the heightening of one sense in the absence of another, to be cliche.. Brilliant patch.

i just use this as a big clock, always in front. thats pretty cool for improvised music, that has the only rule not to get too long. thanks for the great patch!
