| Description: | GrooveEQ is a dynamic EQ built around rhythm rather than static curves. A 6-band dynamic EQ that reacts to the groove. Separate transient and tonal response, plus spectral sidechain unmasking that clears space for your kick only in the bands where it actually collides with the bass — and only while the hit lasts. *Just $5 at launch* Six minimum-phase bell bands (60, 150, 380, 950, 2400 and 6000 Hz) each carry their own detector. A fast/slow envelope pair separates attack from sustain, and the TRANSIENT and TONAL controls decide how much processing happens in each regime — so the EQ can move only on hits, only on sustained material, or anything between. The sidechain section analyses the incoming signal band by band. Gain reduction is applied only where the sidechain and the main signal are both present, and only on the sidechain's attack. The reduction releases between hits instead of carving a permanent hole, so the bass keeps its body while the kick still gets through. The analyzer draws the real state of the processing: band levels, gain reduction and sidechain activity as they actually happen. No FFT and no lookahead anywhere in the device, so latency is zero. SIDECHAIN SETUP Max for Live devices only receive audio from their own track, so routing uses a companion device. Put GrooveEQ Send on the source track (kick), GrooveEQ on the destination track (bass), and switch SC to ON. GrooveEQ Send passes audio through untouched. Both devices are included in the download.
