Description:	Bend14 is a compact Max for Live MIDI device for generating standard 14-bit pitch-bend messages from a vertical bipolar control. It provides the full signed MIDI pitch-bend range from −8192 to +8191, with exact numeric entry, MIDI channel selection and a dedicated centre button. The device has two operating modes: Latch keeps the bend at the released position. Spring returns the strip to centre after a mouse drag, like a conventional keyboard pitch wheel. Normal MIDI passes through unchanged. Bend14 sends standard channel pitch bend rather than MPE per-note bend, and the receiving instrument determines how many semitones the full range represents. The download includes the `.amxd` device and editable `.maxpat` source. It may be used and modified freely and shared free of charge, but not resold. Tested with Ableton Live 12.4.3, Max 9.1.4 and Apple Silicon Mac. Licensed as CC BY-NC-SA on Maxforlive.com.
