Description:	LRMS is a Max for Live device that brings flexible mid-side processing to Ableton Live. It works as both a left-right to mid-side encoder and a mid-side to left-right decoder. In its main use case, LRMS converts a normal stereo signal so that the left channel carries the Mid signal and the right channel carries the Side signal. You can then place any Ableton stock effect, Max for Live device, or third-party plugin after it and process the Mid and Side independently, just as if they were ordinary left and right channels. After processing, LRMS can decode the signal back to standard stereo. This makes mid-side processing available with virtually any stereo effect, not only plugins that have a built-in M/S mode. You can EQ the center differently from the sides, compress the mono content without affecting stereo width, distort only the side information, widen or narrow a sound, create movement in the stereo field, or build more advanced mastering and sound-design chains using tools you already know. LRMS is especially useful for mixing, mastering, sound design, and creative stereo control. It lets you treat the center and width of a sound as separate parts of the signal, giving you more precise control over space, focus, and stereo image inside Ableton Live.
