Description:	Cycle: The Precision of Pure Tone In sound, the simplest waveform often carries the deepest complexity. The sine wave, reduced to its mathematical essence, contains within it the full vocabulary of resonance, phase, and interference. Cycle is a Max for Live instrument built around that idea, providing an environment where pure tone becomes a material for spatial and structural exploration rather than just pitch. Preset Generator Cycle allows pitch assignment based on frequency structures that deviate from equal temperament, which can make harmonic design less intuitive. To address this, a preset generation feature was introduced in version 2.0. Select one of the 18 underlying principles below, then press the Generate button.
