Description: | Micron Overdrive v1.1 Max for Live Audio Effect Overdrive is an amplitude-based audio effect that clips the input signal to create harmonics. This overdriven signal is shaped by an equalizer with a custom set of mid-range parameters. Overdrive parameters contain gain drive and offset positioning. INPUT controls the input level and uses a 20kHz lowpass filter. DRIVE sets the gain level before clipping occurs at 0dB. OFFSET moves the signal center in a positive or negative direction. OUTPUT controls the output level and gain-stages the TONE parameter. Equalizer parameters contain two linked shelf filters for mid-range tone as well as low and high filters. Using the filter display, adjust the filter position on the x-axis with FREQ and the y-axis with TONE as well as distance factor with WIDTH. FREQ sets the frequency centers between the shelf filters. TONE sets their gain measured in decibels. WIDTH sets the distance between their frequency centers. LOW/HIGH apply gain to a 100Hz low-shelf filter and a 6600Hz high-shelf filter, respectively, both measured in decibels. There also are fixed position filters with a 30Hz highpass and a 20kHz lowpass. Micron Distortion v1.3 Max for Live Audio Effect Distortion is an amplitude-based audio effect that exponentiates the input signal to create harmonics. This distorted signal is shaped by an equalizer with a custom set of mid-range parameters. Distortion parameters contain exponential gain distortion and negative signal wavefolding. INPUT controls the input level and uses a 20kHz lowpass filter. DIST sets the distortion level applied to the input signal to create odd harmonics. FOLD sets the amplitude level of the input signal's negative values to create even harmonics. Micron Saturation v1.2 Max for Live Audio Effect Saturation is an amplitude-based audio effect that folds the input signal to create harmonics. This folded signal is shaped by an equalizer with a custom set of mid-range parameters. Saturation parameters contain fold level and saturation level. INPUT controls the input level and uses a 20kHz lowpass filter. FOLD sets the amount of folds applied to the signal measured in pi-radians. SATURATE sets the saturation level of the folded signal by limiting the folding range. |
