Since diving into Live over a decade ago I've been fighting the fact you can't MIDI-map the transport to a single button, allowing you spacebar-like action with a trigger or a footswitch. "Surely, someone will have figured this out by now," I've asked myself several times a year.
Anyway, after ten years I finally learned enough Max to make this. It's one big button you can MIDI-map that acts as a toggle for the transport. It reacts to transport changes and is compatible with Push. It's an audio effect but you can stick it on any track. |
