Overview

Name | Version: Hybrid Push 1.0
Author: LionaDevices
Device Type: Audio Effect
Description: Ableton's Push is a fantastic controller that allows you to access the clip matrix in Session mode and play notes in Note mode. However, by default, you can't use both modes simultaneously.

Hybrid Push changes that, enabling you to play MIDI notes and launch clips at the same time. This gives you more flexibility and creative control over your music production and live performances.

KNOWN ISSUES:

It's not possible to play clips with velocity.
When clip quantization is set to "none", the pads do not respond as they do in native mode, making live clip triggering difficult.
Clip and scene names cannot be displayed when holding Select and choosing the desired clip.
Duplicate & Delete actions for clips and scenes do not function (but Push Hybrid provides alternative features).
The Push grid does not display correctly when instrument chains are open.

Hybrid Push has been tested with Push 2 and Ableton Live 12. Some functions may not work on other configurations.
Notably, if you use the jog Wheel with Push3, it may shift the grid.
If someone is willing to lend me a Push 3 in Marseille (France), I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to check it out.
Thanks to Isotonik for their videos that explain various aspects of Max for Live and Push.
