Hello SpacetimeLive,
If "exclusive arm" is selected in the preferences and you arm another track, the track with the "always arm" device will be disarmed momentarily and quickly rearmed (which would cause an audio cut in your case).
Maybe the simplest solution for you is to set the track that records your production to "In" monitoring instead.

Does that mean if "exclusive arm" is selected in preferences, if another track is armed, Ableton will disarm this track momentarily, but the device will quickly rearm it?
I can't have momentary disarming. I plan on keeping a resampling audio track continuously armed to record my live productions, so I need the track to remained armed continuously. Thanks
