gd-dentist is a Max For Live device that I originally created in the Max/MSP Pluggo environment around 2003 & updated for M4L in 2023. It is a spectral spiky filter, that filters out partials or “teeth” from the input. You can choose how many teeth you’d like & the maximum frequency range for the filtering. There are buttons to randomize both of those values plus a button to redistribute the teeth. |
