gd-degrader is a Max For Live device that I originally created in the Max/MSP Pluggo environment around 2003 & updated for M4L in 2023. It uses the incoming audio to trigger random values for sample rate and bit depth independently on the left and right channels. It creates an evolving degraded, crunchy version of the input. |
