Description: | Nularseq is a Max for Live MIDI effect designed to play melodic accompaniment synchronised to a live finger drumming performance. Its primary use case is live performance, but it can also be used as a composition tool. It can be viewed as a polyphonic step sequencer with the important difference of sequence position being advanced by incoming MIDI notes rather than a fixed-frequency clock. This device is a ton of fun! Totally playable and also user friendly, Took me not too long to understand how it works. Will add this to my live set for sure.

I like this! Different midi drum loop patterns generate interesting random melodies and chords.
I wonder if there is a way to route the layers to different midi tracks so that I can have different instruments play each layer?

@unjazz Thanks a lot for your feedback! No, it's not possible to route different layers to different MIDI tracks at the moment. The next version of Nularseq will introduce something similar, but not exactly this. For your use case, I'd suggest you simply use multiple instances of Nularseq on different MIDI tracks, have you tried this?
